M&E Services For Building

For an engineer and bosses out there. My objective is to gather all the low cost high end device with newest technology in construction industries. How to design the system with the new device, problem and solution. Please note that power consumption, voltage and specification provide for each country maybe different. Please refer to your nearest authority for more info.
My writing is more to malaysian system.

M&E services are divided to 2 main scope of work
1. Mechanical System
2. Electrical System

Mechanical system

As per normally practice in malaysia, mechanical system are divide 6 category
1. Air Conditioning & Ventilation System
2. Fire Fighting
3. Sanitary Plumbing
4. Cold water System
5. lift system
6.Special System & Others (e.g medical system, prison system)

Electrical system (Malaysia)

Electrical system normally divide to various system depend to the system it self e.g

1. HT - High tension voltage electrical supply normally 11kv and above

normally used for authority power distribution. Some of the device that being integrate with this system are transformer, switch gear and cable

2. LV - Low Voltage electrical supply

normally used with 415v and 240v or below for housing and building. Some of the device that can be integrate with this system is main switch board, amf board, genset, substation, feeder pillar, distribution board.

3. ELV - Extra Low Voltage Electrical supply

normally used for small device e.g lamp, radio, tv, public announcement system, telephone, pabx and many other device that i can't wrote here.
